A 10-inch tube OD butt-weld dome cap in T304 stainless steel, unpolished (16W-U) finish. Used to close off the end of sanitary process piping in brewing, dairy, and food manufacturing applications. The domed shape eliminates flat-bottom dead pockets where product or CIP solution can pool, keeping the run fully drainable and sanitarily acceptable for 3-A and FDA-relevant installs.

Technician's Note: Match the OD of the cap exactly to the tube OD. Sanitary tubing is sized by OD, not nominal pipe size, and a 10" sanitary cap will not mate to a 10" Schedule 40 pipe. Use an orbital welder for the joint; stick or TIG welds without proper purge gas will sugar the inside of the joint and create crevice corrosion sites that fail food-grade inspection. Unpolished (16W) is appropriate for non-product-contact runs or for applications that will be electropolished after fabrication.
